Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a dynamic hospital environment. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, administer medications, educate families, document outcomes and collaborate with the care team.

Eligible candidates may receive a $20K sign-on bonus for full-time night shifts or $10K for part-time, plus relocation assistance and opportunities for advancement through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

RN license required and BLS certification.
Experience in acute care setting preferred.
Fluent in English reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological and social factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective care and communication.
Document care activities and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Monitor adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members as appropriate.
Engage in performance improvement activities and professional development.
Respond promptly to code situations to stabilize patients.
