Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
• RN license is required; BLS certification required.
• 1+ year in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate and revise plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
