Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK seeks a registered nurse to join its acute care team. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination to deliver high-quality nursing care. Candidates should have Oklahoma RN licensure and relevant hospital experience.

ADN is required with BSN preferred; BLS is mandatory and ACLS within three months of hire. PEARS preferred. Strong computer skills and experience with hospital systems are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required within three (3) months of employment.
• PEARS certification preferred.
• One (1) year Full or Part time hospital-based experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Rounds with purpose to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs; evaluate environment for patient safety.
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
