Job summary

St. Mary in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement nursing care, and coordinate with other providers to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, ADN (BSN preferred), and current BLS; ACLS and PALS within stated windows may be required. ICU experience is a plus as the hospital emphasizes high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 3 months of employment.
• PALS required within 6 months of employment.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and initiate the plan of care.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge planning.
• Coordinate implementation of care and develop goals.
• Complete hourly rounds to improve safety and patient comfort.
• Participate in bedside reports to address concerns with patient/family.
• Educate patients and families about hospital care delivery and open communication policies.
• Follow SBAR for handoffs and transitions in care.
• Demonstrate nursing judgment and clinical skills.
• Follow safety policies including medication administration and equipment safety.
• Incorporate patient data to identify problems and intervene promptly.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality and advocate for patient involvement.
• Report significant changes to the physician and coordinate with all disciplines.
• Perform other duties as required.
