Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an RN Float for the Emergency Department Float Pool in Texas. You will coordinate patient care, adapt plans to changing needs, and float to regional assignments as needed. Self-scheduling allows flexibility in shifts and holiday coverage.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience, with a minimum of four years in Emergency Department settings.

Qualifications

• Eligible to be a registered nurse with an accredited nursing program or 2 years of nursing experience.
• Must hold BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Emergency Department experience before start.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe environment for patients, families, and staff, and aid in pain management.
