Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center's Atrium Health Mercy Float Pool is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to float across inpatient units, providing skilled nursing care and coordinating patient care. The role emphasizes safe, evidenced-based practice within our Magnet-designated facility.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state and BLS certification, with 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred; at least 6 months outside the New Grad residency program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication to lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
