Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, collaborate with care team.
• Maintain accuracy in EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
• Provide care appropriate to age-specific needs.
