Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a registered nurse to apply the nursing process across care units, assessing and planning treatment while engaging patients and families. Qualifications

Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with privileges to practice in applicable state(s).
BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Engages in nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
Maintains accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
Upholds and promotes a culture of safety and quality.
May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
