Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga is seeking an RN Float Pool to provide direct patient care across units, adhering to the Registered Nurse Practice Act and HCA Healthcare standards. You will perform assessments, administer meds, monitor vital signs, and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Current Tennessee RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months are required; 2 years of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Tennessee.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor and document patient condition using computerized systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
