Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, TX is seeking an RN Float to coordinate patient care across units in our new 340,000 square foot hospital. You will assess patients, plan care, and support transitions in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Expect three 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) with weekends and holidays. BSN preferred and two years of PCU experience in an acute care setting are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or have two years of relevant work experience.
• Must be a registered nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of starting.
• PREFERRED: BSN degree and two years of PCU experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care based on our nursing model and assess patient needs.
• Plan personalized care and evaluate responses to health issues.
• Delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities.
• Support safe patient transitions and contribute to ongoing professional development.
