Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care, health promotion, and illness prevention through the nursing process. You will use critical thinking to assess needs, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred; Alabama RN license or eligibility required; BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for individuals and promote health.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive care.
• Coordinate and manage nursing care with the health care team and licensed physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and/or dentists.
