PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy in Houston, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. The RN uses the nursing process to plan, coordinate and provide care, including discharge planning and patient/family education for post-hospitalization.

ACLS is required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU where applicable. Current Texas RN license and BLS certification are required; ACLS certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care.
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as needed and collaborate with the care team.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
