Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miamisburg in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care on the medical-surgical unit under Nursing leadership. You will apply the nursing process to plan, deliver, and supervise care for admitted patients.

The role emphasizes discharge planning, patient/family education, and coordination with the care team. Active RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days are required; ACLS is required for Charge Nurse duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of employment or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Coordinate patient care, including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resource access.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.
