Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical‑surgical unit in Pennsylvania. You will coordinate, discharge plan, and educate patients and families for post‑hospital recovery.

Requirements: current RN license (state or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. For Charge Nurse duties ACLS is required. Inpatient med‑surg experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise nursing care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resources access.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for that role.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure (RN) in state or compact licensure

BLS certification (AHA approved)

ACLS certification (within 90 days)
