Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care on the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, or Charge Nurse. You will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, discharge planning, and family teaching for post-hospitalization, including accessing community resources.

ACLS certification is required within 90 days; BLS is required now.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients using the nursing process on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.
