Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on our medical‑surgical unit. The RN will plan and coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post‑hospital needs, with potential Charge Nurse duties requiring ACLS.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families for post-hospital care; participate in interdisciplinary planning.
• Perform duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
