Job summary

Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, Utah is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the NOC shift; days will vary. You will prepare, administer, and document medications, treatments, and IV lines, following facility policies and infection control standards.

The ideal candidate is a currently licensed RN in Utah, with the ability to read and interpret clinical information in English, and capable of standing long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current active RN license in Utah
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret English-language clinical information
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Experience in long-term geriatric nursing care preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines
• Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with policy
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals
• Notify physician of refusal of medication/treatments and adverse reactions
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat and compliant with storage and disposal policies
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing personnel, as required
• Practice and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and safety policies and procedures
