Job summary

Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, Utah is seeking a Part-Time Night Shift LPN to provide compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will administer medications, document treatments, maintain accurate records, and ensure safety and infection control while working with a supportive team.

Requirements include an active LPN license, CPR certification, and prior geriatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active license as an LPN.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in the English language.
• Must be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with policy, on the medication/treatment record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Notify physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification of adverse reactions.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and the medication stored properly.
• Ensure the correct disposal of all sharps.
• Enter key information into computer systems including EMR.
• Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures.
• React appropriately to emergency and disaster situations.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned
