Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is expanding its Flex Pool and seeks a Registered Nurse to float across Med/Surg, Ortho/Neuro, ICU and ED across NRHS campuses. The role supports patient care in diverse units while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assess patient needs, and adapt care plans as priorities shift. Oklahoma RN license, BLS required; ACLS/NIHSS/PALS encouraged within 6 months; night shift 7p-7a.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN is required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• RN license in Oklahoma with BLS; ACLS/NIHSS/PALS beneficial within 6 months.
• Ability to float across Med/Surg, IMC/PCU, ICU, and ED pods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with health professionals.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across pods.
• Safely delegate tasks and maintain high standards of practice.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Adapt to unit needs with professional judgment and safety focus.
