Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team. You’ll work side-by-side with surgeons to provide perioperative care, using advanced clinical skills before, during, and after surgery.

This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within one year, active MO RN licensure, and perioperative nursing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in MO.
• Minimum perioperative nursing experience.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within 1 year of hire.
• BLS/ACLS within first year.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide perioperative patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with surgeons and other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrates continued competence in perioperative nursing.
• Provides exceptional perioperative care before, during, and after surgery.
