Qualifications

• Must have perioperative nursing experience.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant class required within one year of hire/transfer; BLS/ACLS within first year.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in the operating room as a Nurse First Assistant.
• Provide perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Demonstrate continuing competence in perioperative nursing.
