Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across the OR and related units. You will operate as an RN first assistant during procedures and may serve as RN circulator as needed.

The role requires CNOR and BLS certifications, with CRNFA, ACLS, and PALS preferred. Georgia nursing license and relevant perioperative experience are expected.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from a school of nursing. Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience. If working in the CVOR, minimum experience of three years as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR.
• ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: RN First Assistant certification (CRNFA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on patient population
