Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent foreign degree.
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Certification in CPR and emergency care.
• CGFNS certificate (or equivalent) or NCLEX-RN eligibility and license to practice in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs and nursing personnel; clarify expectations.
• Ensure safety and integrate evidence-based best practices into care.
