Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; 2 years RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications recommended for unit practice.
• Color vision acuity may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Care is provided in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
