Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs in Bemidji seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered care on the night shift (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.). The role supports the Bemidji Veterans Home nursing unit and requires MN RN licensure with BLS/CPR. A sign-on bonus of $6,000 is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing. Must be able to obtain licensure by date of hire if not currently licensed in Minnesota.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification through a recognized American Heart Association or Red Cross program, or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Effective communication to provide and follow instructions and teach skills to residents.
• Computer skills to complete electronic charting, specifically PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver RN-scale care within the RN scope of practice per applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident-centered care.
