Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or Compact License.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred (18 months may be considered).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Experience caring for trauma, stroke, and emergency patients of all ages.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, communication, and emergency response skills.
• Willingness to float to other units as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care using triage principles.
• Provide emergency nursing care for trauma, medical, surgical, and critical patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Float to other patient care units as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
