Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide timely and compassionate care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies in Maine.

You will assess and prioritize patients, deliver emergency nursing care, IV therapy and medications, monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, and assist with procedures. Educating patients and families and documenting care are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license as required by the state.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS/TNCC preferred.
  • Previous Emergency Department or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills.
