Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment in a rural Vermont hospital. The role requires delivering direct patient care in a high-acuity ED, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and ensuring optimal outcomes during night shifts with 12-hour blocks.
The position demands a current RN license, 3+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS; TNCC is preferred.

Description:The Emergency Department has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse.In this fast-paced position, the ED RN provides direct care and evaluates outcomes.The RN consults with other specialties as required and adjusts the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.Working well under pressure, the RN collaborates with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.The Emergency Department is very busy and RNs must be able to learn quickly and be proactive team members.The rural ED has nine beds and sees over 15,000 patients per year and is currently under construction for an expansion.This facility provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services.Please note that this is a rural critical access hospital and there is no public transportation in the area.Travelers will start on Wednesdays.During the week of orientation, travelers on a contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.Holiday coverage may be required.
