Description:1st timers are welcome to apply.The position requires floating between units based on needs.On-call duties are not required.Weekends are mandatory every other week.Block schedules are not needed.The expected patient ratio is 1:4.Special requirements for variable night/evening shifts.The facility is a short-term acute care center with a Level IV Trauma designation.Total staff beds are 60.Scrub colors are flexible, with any color acceptable.Charting system used is Epic.Candidates must possess a vehicle for this assignment.Travelers may be asked to float to other units based on skill sets.The caseload includes patients of all ages, with varied diagnoses.No specific trauma experience is required, but experience with stabilization and transfer is beneficial.Additional interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays.Two references covering one year of recent experience are required.Please note that refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.Travelers must demonstrate flexibility in their schedules.
