Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 13-week assignment. The shift is 18:30 to 07:00, with 36 hours per shift. The department sees adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a 1:4 patient-nurse ratio.

ACLS and PALS are required, and a minimum of two years in ED is expected. Candidates should be able to manage ventilation, IV access, port access, and cardiac drips, while maintaining composure and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years emergency department experience.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to manage vent patients, trauma care, IV access and related critical care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for emergent, urgent, and trauma patients.
• Monitor patients with cardiac monitors and bladder scan as needed.
• Maintain a calm, team-based approach in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Adhere to dress code and infection control protocols.
