Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, CO. This 13-week contract role offers Night Shift hours from 7 PM to 7 AM and the opportunity to work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of current ED experience, a valid RN license, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC. CPI Blue Card is required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience.
• RN license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Emergency Department at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is seeking experienced Registered Nurses. The unit has 24 beds and a staff of 45, with a patient ratio of 4:1 (5:1 during surge). Nurses will be equipped with GE monitors and utilize Meditech for electronic medical records. The Emergency Department performs critical procedures including port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal washes, and point-of-care testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform necessary emergency procedures including IV insertions and EKGs.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH and ENPC certifications.
• Must have a CPI Blue Card.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC.
• Certifications in CEN and CPEN preferred.
