Job summary

Responsibilities

• Per form as circulator during electrophysiology procedures under Cardiologist/Radiologist direction.
• Work under supervision of department manager/director with independent judgment and initiative.
• Ensure a safe, organized and efficient surgical environment; comply with overtime and call-back requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education
  • A diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence in field of practice. Must be AC LS certified.
• Physical

  • Requires – mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature, exposure to disagreeable elements (dusts, fumes, odors, water, etc.) exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs as circulator during electrophysiology procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist and/or Radiologist and the supervision of the department manager and/or director. This position requires independent judgment, integrity, initiative and excellent critical thinking skills. He/She must ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment in the surgical area. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
