Scope of Work

As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and patient-family-centered care principles. Under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, you will be a key team member, making a meaningful difference in patients' and families' lives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., DNP/PhD) required; if not BSN-prepared, new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five years, effective April 18, 2023.
• Graduates from non-accredited nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or over two years in a licensed healthcare role (e.g., LPN, EMT) and must have passed the NCLEX exam.

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan required upon hire.
• Specialty Certification (CRT) required; specific certifications depend on the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA required within 180 days; specific requirements depend on department.
• Minimum 1-2 years of cardiac progressive care experience required.
