The electrophysiology lab employs cardiologists trained to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). Using advanced equipment, they monitor and map the heart's electrical system to treat rhythm problems. Scope of Work

The Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager oversees all cath lab staff and processes under the direction of the nurse leader. Responsibilities include assisting with staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations. The role involves implementing departmental policies, handling patient concerns, and ensuring the effective operation of the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Two years of recent relevant cath lab nursing experience required.
  • Three or more years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
