AdventHealth Minneola in Florida is recruiting an RN for Endoscopy with critical care background and a focus on comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.

Salary range is $31.85–$52.76 hourly. Schedule is Full Time Day shift; location AdventHealth Minneola; 40 hours/week. Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS CPR certification required
• 1+ year Endoscopy experience highly preferred
• Critical Care background required
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
• Must be able to navigate Windows-based programs

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, development, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Document patient information, care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Job Description:

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility:

· One (1) year of applicable experience

· Must live 50 miles outside of campus address

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions continuously, making necessary adjustments to improve patient health and achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe healthcare environment.

• 1+ year Endoscopy experience highly preferred
• Critical Care Background experience required
