Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality direct patient care in a busy hospital unit. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, plan and implement individualized care, administer medications per physician orders, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the medical team to optimize outcomes.

This full‑time Day shift role includes a competitive pay range, sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance, plus a full benefits

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physiology, psychology, development, sociocultural and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.

Job Description

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $1,500 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below). Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation.

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address
• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Organizational and multi‑tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem‑solving skills
• EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes
