Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with Endoscopy specialty for a 13-week assignment in Massachusetts. The candidate must have 2–3 years of experience in one location and 2 years as a traveler, and hold an active MA RN license along with ACLS and BLS; SGNA/CBSPD is preferred.

GI endoscopy skills with Olympus scope setup are required. Shifts are days, 8 hours, in a 7-room unit with 1:1 nurse-to-patient in procedural rooms and 1:2-3 in PACU.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• ACLS, BLS required; SGNA/CBSPD preferred; IRP ACLS.
• 2–3 years in one location; 2 years as traveler.

Responsabilités

• Perform endoscopy procedures in a 7-room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio in procedural rooms.
• Be available for on-call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Rotate shifts as needed and operate within the EPIC electronic medical record.

Description:The unit has 7 rooms, with 4 for monitored anesthesia care and 3 for conscious sedation procedures.There are holding and recovery rooms available.The unit operates on weekdays with on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.The clinician to patient ratio is 1:1 in procedural rooms and 1:2-3 in the post-anesthesia care unit.The patient population is diverse, with 60-70 procedures conducted each day.The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.Floating is not required, but rotating shifts may be necessary, depending on hours.The department is open from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
