Job summary

Cynet Health in Somerville, MA is seeking an RN - Endoscopy for our outpatient center specializing in elective procedures. Candidates must have 2+ years of endoscopy experience, a current RN license, and AHA BLS/ACLS; SGNA preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years nursing experience in endoscopy or related specialty.
• Must have current RN license to practice in Massachusetts.
• AHA BLS, ACLS required; SGNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults 18–95 undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Assist in endoscopy suite operations including pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adherence to infection control standards.
• Floating to different areas may be required; no on-call or weekend shifts.

Description:This position is for an endoscopy nurse in an outpatient center focused on elective procedures.Candidates will be responsible for providing care to patients ranging from 18 to 95 years old.Common patient diagnoses include colon cancer screenings and rectal bleeds.The facility features four procedure rooms, five pre-operative bays, and five post-anesthesia care unit bays.Floating to different areas may be required.There are no on-call responsibilities and no weekend shifts.Flu vaccine is required during the season.A skills checklist matching the specialty is necessary.Experience with EMR preferred, particularly EPIC.
