Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks an Endoscopy RN for an 8-week assignment in Rochester, NY. Shifts are 10 hours from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM with variable days off based on department needs.

On-call requirements include approximately 4–6 shifts per month with weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Travel scrub colors accepted; local candidates must be >75 miles away, and a minimum of one year of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.

Job description

Endoscopy RN Position - 8 Weeks

Shift Details

10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Days off vary based on department needs; consistent same day off or Monday/Friday off cannot be guaranteed

On-Call Requirements

Approximately 4-6 shifts per month including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Float Requirements

Float to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed

Patient Diagnoses

• Procedural cases involving Pancreatic, Lung, Colon, and Gastric cancers
• Polyps
• Barrett's esophagus
• Common bile duct stones, strictures, and cancer

Special Procedures and Unit Details

• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Navigational Bronchoscopy
• Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
• Manometry
• Fibroscan

Required Skills and Competencies
