Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA seeks an RN for Endoscopy with on-call day shifts. 12-hour or 24-hour duties, depending on schedule, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.

Requirements include MA RN licensure, BLS, and Endoscopy/Perioperative or Critical Care experience preferred; vaccination for influenza and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Three (3) months experience preferred.
• Endo, Periop or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Vaccination: influenza and COVID-19 vaccination required or valid exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Lead by collaborating with nursing and patient team members.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient age group.

We are searching for a talented RN

• $3,000 New Hire Sign On with 2+ years of RN Endoscopy experience. Rehires Termed greater than 1 year are eligible*

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); Variable hours

Location: Endoscopy - St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Endo, Periop or Critical Care experience preferred
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
