Job summary

Talencia is seeking an RN for the Emergency Room at Olympia Fields Hospital. The contract is 13 weeks with shifts from 07:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30. Pay is $75/hr (W2) or $80/hr (1099), with the understanding that these rates are temporary for the initial four weeks and may be adjusted afterward.

Candidates may choose to work only during the initial four-week period at the higher rate. This is a high-priority staffing need at the Olympia Fields facility in Illinois.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, strip interpretation and drip titration requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The RN directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including monitoring results and symptoms.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Job Description

IMPORTANT: The $75/hr or $80/hr rate is temporary and expected to remain in effect for at least four (4) weeks.

Following this period, the bill rate will be reduced to a lower rate, which is still being finalized.

By accepting this assignment, candidates acknowledge that the current rate is not guaranteed beyond the initial four-week period and may be adjusted thereafter.

Candidates who prefer to work only during the initial four-week period at the $75/hr or $80/hr rate may do so.

This is a high-priority staffing need, and we are open to candidates accepting an assignment limited to the temporary rate period.

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
