The role requires an active Texas RN license, an associate degree in nursing, Basic Life Support within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Texas.
• Associate degree in nursing from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care (transfers, discharges, referrals).
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides education.
• Advocates for patient wellbeing.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality care and works flexible shifts.
• Maintains regular attendance.
