Job summary

Paris Regional in Paris, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services on night shifts for new graduates. You will perform plan-of-care interventions, administer medications, document care, and monitor patient conditions while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience recommended.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care and transfers/discharges.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides education.
• Advocates for the patient's physical and emotional well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and supports flexible shifts as needed.
• Maintains regular attendance and performs other duties as assigned.
