Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison, WI seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services. This 90% FTE role requires working 8/12 hour evening shifts (7:00pm–7:30am), including alternate weekends and holidays, at East Madison Hospital.

You will care for patients across ages in a fast-paced Trauma Level IV ED, with opportunities for professional growth. Eligible candidates will have at least 6 months RN experience; BSN preferred; WI RN license or compact license;

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 6 months of RN experience required.
• 1 year of ICU/CCU/ED experience with adults or pediatrics preferred.
• Licensure as an RN in WI or compact state; CPR, ACLS, PALS required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department.
• Apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment with complex assessments and interventions.
• Care for patients of all ages and acuities and collaborate with team members.
• Contribute to delivering exceptional emergency care with nurses, providers, and support staff.
