Job summary

UW Health East Madison Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department. You will apply your clinical knowledge in a fast-paced setting with complex assessments and interventions, caring for patients and families of all ages.

This role offers opportunities to broaden skills with a collaborative team and a commitment to exceptional emergency care. Candidates should have a BSN preferred, at least 6 months RN experience, and WI or compact licensure with CPR,

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 6 months RN experience required.
• 1 year ICU/CCU or Emergency Department experience preferred (adult/pediatric).
• Licensed as RN in WI or compact license. CPR, ACLS, PALS timing as required.

• Work at a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department.
• Apply clinical knowledge in fast-paced environment with complex assessments and interventions.

90% FTE, 8/12 hour evening/night shifts between the hours of 3:00pm - 7:30am including a weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Shift differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• 1 year of ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department experience with adult and/or pediatric populations Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required
• ACLS within 6 months Required
• PALS within 6 months Required
• TNCC Preferred
• ENPC Preferred
