Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with a shift from 9:00am to 9:30pm, and includes a sign-on bonus for experienced nurses.

Join a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7 with dedicated support staff. Eligible candidates bring an active RN license (or compact license), ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must Live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
