BLS is required, and ED RN licensure in Georgia is essential. Ideal candidates have hospital-based experience, prefer a BSN, and are committed to professional growth in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication and clinical decision‑making skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced Emergency Department environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with ED providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collects data on physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Evaluates developmental age for appropriate care planning and education.
• Organizes data into a care plan and identifies additional information needed.
• Carries out the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provides patient care aligned with severity and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides educational resources.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician as appropriate.
• Documents care and concerns in the patient record.
