Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Snellville, GA is seeking a motivated RN for part-time day shifts. The department handles ~160 patients daily in a 38-bed ED and is a primary Stroke and STEMI receiving facility with on-site helicopter pads.

Key roles include collaboration with ED providers, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care. Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia and BLS; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through life cycle using nursing process.
• Assess patient data and plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care with ED staff and physicians.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Document care adequately in patient records.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Manager/physician.
