Job summary

Mercy Joplin is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability for the care of assigned patients within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, safeguarding patient rights and privacy, and upholding Mercy Service Standards in alignment with mission and values.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in Missouri and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association.

Mercy Joplin is a certified Level II trauma center. The unit has 21 exam, 6 trauma, 5 behavioral health rooms and 3 dedicated triage rooms. The Mercy Lifeline air medical service has 2 on-site helipads.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
