Mercy is seeking a registered nurse for Behavioral Health with a focus on adult patients at our hospital. You will apply the nursing process to provide attentive care, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities emphasize collaboration with the care team, evaluation of care effectiveness, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards within a 32-bed behavioral health unit.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Behavioral Health offers 32 beds within the Mercy Joplin main hospital. Our nurses are specially trained to care for the Adult Psych population. The unit offers a women’s side, a men’s side & medical care side.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school

• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
